Today was a fun day. First thing this morning we got up and got to chopping firewood. We all helped out and it took awhile. After that fun my hubby killed his first chicken. The kids kept asking him to do it and then when he did the girls ran screaming and crying. It took awhile for them to calm down. When he finished cleaning it the girls and I seasoned it and stuck it in the oven. Then we headed to town to get 18 FREE milk crates. I am so happy we got them for free because we really needed them. When we got home I made some rice and green beans. The chicken came out so tender that it was falling off the bone. We did our homeschooling and some crafts after dinner. We had a great day and it ended with great food.

December 6, 2007Hi all! This is my first blog and I just wanted to say a few things. I cant wait to start participating in the contests and start a few of my own. If anyone has any homeschooling advise dont hesitate to give me suggestions. I am new to the homeschooling thing and I dont mind advise. I hope everyone is having a great Holiday season!
